Call for Special Session 

The conference cordially invite internationally recognized academicians and industry experts to propose Special Sessions based on theme of the conference.

Special Sessions proposal should be submitted through the Special Session Proposal Form, which includes: 

  1. Title of Special Session

  2. Name(s), designation, email and affiliation of session chair(s) (max 2)

  3. Brief description of the topic and motivation, highlighting the novelty/impact and timeliness of the topic

  4. Relevance to the theme of this conference and related topics

  5. Expected number of articles to receive

  6. List of names, affiliation, email of 10 potential authors

  7. Special Issue of the Journal to be associated with the conference for the extended paper publications.

Special session proposals along with a short curriculum vitae of the session chair(s) can be mailed to icitetm@mait.ac.in (copy to namita@mait.ac.in) on or before 20 November 2019. After review by an external expert panel, decision regarding the special session will be intimated within 10 days from submission of the proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposal, timeliness and potential impact of the topic, as well as on the track record of the proposers and topics of the contributed papers. 

NOTE
  • A special session must target a particular audience who are probable to submit for the special session. Insufficient number of submissions will lead to drop of the special sessions but the registered articles under the sessions will be considered as regular articles and will be published in the proceedings.

  • Selection of a special session is subject to the mutual exclusiveness of already requested and approved special issues. All approved special sessions will be listed under SPECIAL SESSIONS tab.

  • The participation of speakers from industry in a special session proposal is encouraged and will be positively evaluated when the proposal is assessed.

  • All papers submitted in the special session should not be from the same institute. Only 10% to 15 % papers from same institute are permitted.

  • All papers will be subject to the same peer review process as for regular papers.

  • All the submissions have to be made in Easy Chair Portal and the Special Session Chairs must keep a track of the paper ids of the submissions.

  • Each special session will be awarded One Best Paper award.

BENEFITS
  1. Special Session Chair as token of honor will be given the certificate and memento.

  2. Special Session Chair will be given a free complementary registration as an author/attendee at the conference.
